pious

(of a hope) sincere but unlikely to be fulfilled.

Candi is often found striking this pose.

Butter wouldn’t melt in her mouth would it?

Candi’s pious pose is just that…pretence.

She has a track up along a garden bed

which shields her from view.

So when she does appear at, or near, her kennel,

she always has a pious innocence appearance

on her face.

When contractors prepared our land for…

….planting trees they told me that they

would remove and bury fencing materials.

 

Pushing the wire under established trees was

how they left these tangled twisted piles

of wire and droppers.

They were worse the next time around however

their employers were not happy when

they received the photos I sent to them.

All was cleaned up and buried, properly,

second time around.
