Pouring concrete for a house slab.

Not the same house but didn’t look too good.

Because this was all that was left of

the Khama Rhino Sanctuary’s amenities in Botswana

when we visited  in 2014….

All the amenities were contained….

in temporary buildings during our overnight visit.

Construction  on a new version of this temporary building

had commenced and should be completed now.

Even the street we walked in Brugge was

under construction in 2016.

A busker in Brugge, or some very brief

tourist entertainment…this young lady was very competent..

at least to my ear. 🙂

A Melbourne busker.

Another year, another street

but still busking in Melbourne.

Fingers too old to play my guitar I’m afraid

Bicycles and Motorcycles

We first noticed the high usage of bicycles in Brugge.

While in Amsterdam the bicycle flat

provides free parking for 2,500 bicycles.

The Cadel Evans January Road Race in Geelong’s suburbs.

The Peloton.

Motorcycles and shouldered television cameras

beaming the action to the world.

Riders look relaxed but are travelling

at a phenomenal speed.

Doors and Doorways

Church door, Geelong.

Could be Brugge.  Only a guess.

Geelong…

and again Geelong.

An arch or doorway to a market square

in Brugge, Belgium.

After hearing talk of Menin Gate, at Ypres…

it was a privilege to visit  last year.

This could be my favourite Belgium

doorway to a city.

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge-Lime-Light-Green

~~~
First up I’m sure I have said
that I find colours difficult.
However, here goes…
This plant is an Acacia called Limelight
We have several in our garden.
Is this Murano house light enough
to be classified as light green?
Anyone visiting and shopping in Dubai
will surely see this sight in one of the Malls
Is it green?
Two among many in Brugge.
Somewhere around Corio Bay.
An old strainer/gate post.
In the background one of this year’s
canola crops beginning to bloom.
