Houses of any kind.
I have taken this literally.
This was the chook (hen/chicken) house
we inherited when we purchased the farm.
During our tenure it never housed chooks, only ducks.
My infrequent comments about having
a roast duck for dinner were never well received.
So I left them alone and the foxes ate well.
Old farm house.
So glad this was not our house.
Not a house but one whose owner
was not happy several years ago.
A small country town.
A court house museum
in an old gold mining town.
A small Amsterdam house.
Finally, the house where I spent
many hours during the 1950s.
My Grandparents owned this
post office for many years.
I thought this would be a difficult challenge because
I don’t set out to photograph people these days.
However, it’s scary what some cheap software and
a digital camera can glean from an image.
Legs entertaining tourists.
London legs admiring…
Dry legs on wet afternoon in Murano.
Dutch (Amsterdam) legs.
A business woman’s legs?
Sun baking legs.
Just hope they do not end up like
my sun baked head 🙂
…these seemingly untiring legs.
They will be published one hour after this post.
We were told upon entering Amsterdam,
that ‘red lights are only a suggestion’…
that a driver stop.
On this corner opposite the Amsterdam Station
we gathered as instructed by our Tour Director.
For some reason MGW decided
to cross the road.
She had a green light.
However, I could see a motor scooter
approaching with no sign of slowing,
through a red light on
a collision course with MGW.
My farmers lungs were able to warn her
of the danger and avoid an early end to our holiday.
They are developed when your dog decides
it knew better than its human and began driving
a mob of sheep in a direction
not wanted in reality.
…who need people…
stood this far back from the crowd,
instead of in front.
Will always remember these
two young ladies from Amsterdam.
After asking would they mind posing,
the girl on the left hit me for 5 Euro,
and kept straight face long enough
for mine to express the shock I felt,
before she burst out laughing.
The villains 🙂
Mostly we have met…
or seen people helping others…
…in various ways.
Is the photographer helping
her model or vice versa?
Maybe they were studying
the same course.
Bicycles and Motorcycles
We first noticed the high usage of bicycles in Brugge.
The Cadel Evans January Road Race in Geelong’s suburbs.
Motorcycles and shouldered television cameras
beaming the action to the world.
Riders look relaxed but are travelling
at a phenomenal speed.
