A work colleague of the time mentioned
that he and his wife had been to
High Tea at the Burj Al Arab.
Howwever, he did not mention that our first drink
would contain gold in the bottom of the glass.

However, the interior took my breath away
I don’t know whether it was gold…
or just a golden colour…
However, we were assured that this
was the real thing floating
in our dinks.
For the record were did not stay there,
High Tea or Afternoon Tea
in the Sky View Bar
was all we could afford.
