After this sighting just out of Geelong…
….I decided to have a look at a low-lying area along
a backroad I often travelled to work.
To say I was surprised was an understatement
and I am glad I did not come across this section
of road on a dark night.
A week or two later the water had receded noticeably,
however I would not have driven through it
particularly with the chunk eroded from the
right hand side.
Still upstream from the bridge there was oodles
of water slowly, making its way into the
Moorabool River proper and on to Geelong.
