During our Vancouver – Alaska Cruise,
each night we came back to our cabin
to find a towel…
…had been left as an animal
by our cabin stewards.
The Holland America Line vessel,
…left a long trailing wake as it cruised
the inside passage to Alaska.
A much smaller vessel the Hygeia
appeared to leave a turbulent wake behind
as it cruised Geelong’s
Our cruise up the inside passage
to Glacier Bay was as quiet as expected.
The only surprise being some
rougher water on the first day.

I’m certain I can still feel the solitude I felt…
…when waiting for, and after sunset…
…in the late evening hours and the
early hours of each morning…
…spent in Alaska’s inside passage.
