Landmarks from any where…
The Eiffel Tower…324 metres high.
The Tower in which Big Ben (the Bell)
resides is 96 metres high.
According too Google the
Geelong Football Club ground
is 5.1 kilometres as the crow flies.
Without the light towers, which are 73 metres high,
the ground would be difficult to spot
even from this vantage point.
Although I don’t have a photo,
this morrning Melbourne was laying claim to
having the tallest Southern hemisphere building.
At 388 metres high, the 108 storey
hotel and apartment building
is located in Melbourne’s
Lights an bulbs from all over…

When planning our time in Paris…
…it was highly unlikely that I
would not visit the Eiffel Tower…
…or visit the Moulin Rouge which was
a wonderful dinner and show.
It would be irrefutable to argue…
that this image was taken anywhere but in Paris.

Maybe not a tower per se, but
York Minster does tower over visitors…
…and locals alike.
The ceiling of
Notre Dame de Paris
also towers above its visitors.
And still towers over Paris…
…rivalled only by this Parisian tower.
