A-Photo-a-Week-Challenge-Celebrating-Covid-Style

~~~~~
On February 11, this year we
were invited to a family wedding.
In February rules had eased somewhat
and around seventy guests were in attendance…
…however, the reception was held at Basil’s Farm
and due to COVID restrictions most of the guests
had to remain outside.
Basil’s Farm is on the Bellarine Peninsula
on the shore of Swan Bay.
The wedding was held on Thursday, with the
happy couple heading to Brisbane on Friday.
I heard they made it with two hours to spare
before Brisbane was sent into lockdown.
Unfortunately I do not know
the botanical name for any of…
…the Wheelbarrow…
…contents.
Still at Basil’s Farm.
Still at Basil’s Farm,
not far from the lemon tree was this Fig Tree.
At least I think a fig tree.
 As with the lemon tree…laden with fruit.
Last Thursday we journeyed down to Basil’s Farm,
a winery at Swan Bay about an hour from Geelong,
for afternoon tea.
No we didn’t sample the produce
as neither of us are that way inclined.
 As we left we took some time exploring
some of the flora around the place.
If this lemon tree is a guide, it would appear that
Basil’s Farm may produce much of its own fruit.
