Ever since I photographed this art

I have called it

Blockhead,

Street Art at St Paul de Vence,

in France.

Research today tells me otherwise.

So no blocks this week.   🙂

Similar to haystacks which for many decades

I carefully built each year only to commence

pulling them down within a few weeks.

These bales do resemble building blocks, don’t they?

Tuesday-PC-Wk170-Sculpture

~~~~~~
While these two terms are related to each other, they do not mean exactly the same.
statue is a carved or cast figure of a person or animal.
Sculpture is a piece of art that is made by carving or molding clay, stone, metal, etc.
A sculpture that contains a human or animal figure can be termed as a statue.
I miss-defined the statue/sculpture definition,
so this is take two.
The ‘Gate of Violence’
In the middle of Albertina Platz is the walk-in monument sculpture.
The Monument against War and Fascism
was unveiled in 1988 to preserve the memory
of the darkest era in Austrian history
and is dedicated to all victims of war and fascism.
Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge-Letter-N
~~~

My contribution for

this week’s challenge

Letter-N

(Needs to start with letter N)

Random Ns come from

Nice and St Paul de Vence

in France this week.

~~~~~
Being on the French Riviera there were still those
defying the possibility of skin cancer…
and baring near naked bodies
to  soak up the sun’s rays.
Names  of restaurants were high on walls for visibility.
The name of St Paul de Vence patron saint was
at the foot of a huge statue.
From our vantage point we could
view a nearby cemetery.
Narrow streets appeared to be…
the only type of street in St Paul de Vence.
Back in Nice novel methods…
of parking were needed.
Not sure if I hit all the
noun, verb, adjective,
requirements Cee.
