Letter-M

(Needs to have 2 M’s in the word
(mammal, monument, moment, hammer, summit))

Random Ms this week.This was the style of accommodation

we experienced during our first trip to Africa.

To curtail cost we were back to tents, stretchers

and sleeping bags for about one-third of the safari.

During my trip to France this year we were told that

it is not uncommon to find ammunition dumps

like this one outside many villages on France.

This was the first of two we were shown.

About two or three weeks since it was last cleared.

 Selling commonplace items like these oil cans,

on Facebook, was not hard.

What was hard to believe was

the price people were willing

to pay for them.

Tucked in behind the red bus is

Britain’s House of Commons…

if my research is correct.

Finally, my commentary about these photos

is another MM word! 🙂

Lions, lights and lamps do not fit.
But Geelong’s Laneway art,  does.

So does Melbourne’s Laneway art.

A Leopard is good.

Along with a Leemur at Melbourne’s Zoo.

Although the foreground is what I know as fog grass,

not very nutritious for livestock and a bit of a weed,

it still does form part of the

Moorabool Valley roadside landscape.

The foyer of Dubai’s

Burj Al Arab…

either side of the fountain.

Another walk to the

However, over in the Vatican walkers

ascend this spiral (step less)

staircase at a more sedate pace.

H is for Happy

~~~~~
From Manly, Sydney, last year.
On a hot day little sister did not care how
she cooled down.
A very small part of a larger scene,
but a very happy group of beach goers.
Even the Council was making us feel happy.
This young lady was thoroughly
enjoying applying sun screen
Or was it just life in general?
Again a small part of a large scene.
