Cee’s Odd Ball Challenge-18July22

Odd Ball

July 22

My first Odd Ball post for a while.

As we alighted our cable car on Whistler Mountain…
this caught my eye.

Even it June it was useful and I suspect

it would be in  high demand during winter.

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge-People-at-Work

Our gondola ride in Venice…provided several shots of people at work…

albeit in the same industry.

Finally, a glass blower at work.

Also in Venice.

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge-Free-and-Easy

The advent of social media has made many people

wary of photographers who wish to take a photo of them.

At least, those are my thoughts.

So I tend to focus on those subjects whose consent…

is not required for internet posts.

This makes these subjects extremely…

 free and easy to post.

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge-Happy

I didn’t even need to leave the house

for today’s contribution.

I could not think of anything more

contented or happy than Candi

eating her Easter Monday afternoon snack.

The dogs help themselves to apples, pears

whatever fruit is in season.

She just has not mastered the art

of chewing with her mouth closed…

but, boy it tasted good.

If photos are not quite sharp

it maybe because they were

taken through our kitchen window.

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge-Alone

My contribution for

this week’s challenge

Not sure if my images fit ‘alone’ or ‘a lone’…

Early morning at Corio Bay

This lone fisher man was certainly alone.

 Sighting a tree, either dead…

or alive was something rare as we travelled the

north-eastern reaches of the Kalahari Desert.

A few days later, in the Okavango Delta

we sighted this lone leopard which was

kind enough to pose for some photos.

A couple more from home.

Monday this week I decided to go for a drive

to see what I could see…and take a few photos.

I found single eucalypts scattered throughout

paddocks as is usual around here.

And a few weeks ago I discovered

this stick insect, I think,

clinging to the rear bumper of my car.

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge-Rainbows

My contribution for

this week’s challenge

I have not…

sighted any…

rainbows for some time now.

So, unfortunately these are reposts.

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge-Sunset-Sunrise

My contribution for

this week’s challenge

Sunset to Sunrise

Geelong by night….

or early morning

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge-Leaves-Trees

My contribution for

this week’s challenge

Leaves or Trees

A shady tree in a small Victorian,

Western District town.

Based on the appearance of the limbs/trunk,

it may be a bushy Poplar.

I believe they are known as Aspens

in America.

The cool temperate rain forests

of the Otway Ranges…

provides an ideal climate for

some of our native eucalypts.

Trees around Corio Bay can add

some interest or foil the suns rays

in early morning photography.
