My first visit to Melbourne to view

Street Art provided some

unexpected sights.

The subject may have been the bird

or the boarded up window.

However, for this exercise the subject is

the ladies cosmetics bag…on the window sill.

An artist whose name eludes me sneaks

in during the night and leaves his

small creations behind.

This bag appeared to be made

of solid concrete and was

firmly attached to the window sill.

In other words it was going nowhere in a hurry.

This lady’s purse is displayed in Bourke St (Melbourne),

just outside the Elizabeth Street Post Office.

It is large enough to accommodate

three or four backsides along

the far side/bottom of the purse.
