A late post for last week.
******
Back in March 2020…
…when our supermarket shelves,
overnight, were empty….
…and even seniors had little to argue over
during their special shopping hour…
…MGW saw this parcel advertised on line…
…and so began our panic buying.
Said package didn’t arrive for six to eight weeks.
Fortunately we were not waiting that long
as we began to find little treasures here and there.
Soon we had created a Covid store room
just by purchasing something when we saw it
and not waiting until we needed it.
Eventually, everything will be used.
Until this is over we will remain in credit
with our essentials.
