Today I took a few photos in our garden for the Floral Friday challenge.

The best part of plantings bulbs is that they can surprise you by popping up unexpectedly as these did. My first reaction was to cut them out as weeds. Fortunately I am not known for acting quickly, which was to the benefit of these plants.
Last week’s daisy is featured again, still flowering madly.
The purple statice creates a striking contrast…in my opinion.

‘My Good Wife’ was the term used by a WW 2 veteran who wrote a weekly column in a farming paper many years ago. I decided to abbreviate this term.
