Jo’s Monday Walk

Week-49

Leaning Tower of Pisa
Italy

Before we arrived for this short walk we were advised

that there would be some ‘public transport’ to assist

our journey from bus stop to town…about 300-400 metres.

Not far but by this stage I feet were glad of any respite.

Off the bus/coach and onto McDonald’s Express.

This was my first surprise.

A hidden Tower?

Even this morning many of Google’s photos

depict the Tower in what appears to be

an uncluttered field.

And walls like this to further add some mystery to the area.

And the Leaning Tower is actually

the Cathedral’s, Bell Tower.

WE had neither time or energy to climb to the top

and decided this was close enough.

After a few obligatory photos…

we began our walk back to our coach via the market stalls…

 

stopping only occasionally to view the wares on display.
