Definitely seen better days.

What’s left of an old stone crusher.

Now obsolete, this old drill/seeder has been re-purposed

An autumn leaf that has seen better days

Images of…

…Paronella Park…

….in Queensland.

  A must visit…

…for soldiers…

…on R and R…

…during World War II.

    • If you visit Cairns, just don’t swim at the beach. I decided to paddle in the water, wondering why no-one else was doing likewise. As I was leaving I noticed a sign, facing the water, warning not to swim because of the crocodiles lurking there. 😧😧

    • It is I guess. Paronella was built by a migrant for his wife. It also boasts the first hydraulic system in Australia if my memory is correct. All Australian soldiers were given towels when swimming. American soldiers had to pay one shilling…about ten cents.

    • It has a fantastic history. Built by a migrant for his wife. PPark also boasted the first hydraulic system in Australia, if memory correct. Pacific serving soldiers visited when on leave. Australian soldiers were given towels. American soldiers had to pay one shilling…about ten cents.
