My contribution for this week’s challenge…
One Love
~~~~~
Everyone who has owned a Labrador will agree that
a Labrador’s one love is food.
This morning they have had breakfast,
had my morning treat and still are ready for more.
Even dear old Maggie can move her jaws quicker than
the camera can freeze them where food is concerned.
And Taji is learning that there is a pecking order
and she must wait for her food.
She has learned how to take food
without taking a lump of my hand as well…
chew it carefully, and…
comeback for more.
When the food supply is exhausted she will shake hands
just in case there is a bit more in reserve,
after all, food is her one love.
So sweet. One thing on their minds… I love the second portrait.
And the one thing on their mind was just cropped out of this shot. But she does look cute.
Taji is really growing up fast. I have always loved labs. They are just so loving and loyal
Agreed on all accounts. She is a people dog…loves you immediately. Maggie was/is always wary of strangers…until she sees they are accepted by us.
What a great take on the theme. Although I haven’t owned a Lab I’ve owned a Blue Heeler and they also love their food so I know what you mean. These are terrific photos.
Probably all larger dogs are the same with food. Thank you.
I like the cat quietly sitting there, waiting for the Labradors to finish eating. 🙂
He hasn’t got much choice especially wen it comes to Taji. Taji just puts a leg either side of Sox and their is really no contest, he has to sit and wait. 🙂
Can’t agree with you. I still have scars from his younger days and he is still vicious hen he wants to be.
