intense sorrow, especially caused

by someone’s death.

As we conducted a graveside service for Mother-in-Law,

a few years ago, one of the undertakers

walked over two graves to assist

with lowering the coffin.

 

The return journey was just too much for grave number one.

It collapsed, sending him plummeting into the said grave. 

The incident, momentarily, made us forget our grief.
