Patting the cheetah was a highlight of that day. The lion Cubs are only a few metres from now in the form of a charcoal drawing by Warren Dale Carey, a South African artist

I think it was first timers luck, I think. During our 2014 safari we never sighted a lion all trip.
It was a case of “…there was a pride there yesterday…”
