the quality displayed by someone who just won’t quit —
who keeps trying until they reach their goal.

In December 1992 we purchased our first computer.

About six months later I commenced building a database

using MSAccess.

All went well until I tried muliplying fields.

The error message I recieved was of no help except

to inform me that there was an error.

Everyone I contacted said it could not be done.

I even emailed someone from New York who,

based on his website, I thought should have

been able to help me, only to receive a

similar negative reply.

Sheer perseverance (stubborness), late nights and,

I am certain, the occassional tantrum or three,

and I eventually achievd my desired outcome.

Tha beig aable to multiply, divide, add and subtract

MSAccess fields successfully.
