It was much better than trying to get me into a wet suit and try snorkelling. It was while snorkelling that I realised just how unfit I was.

Oh no. That was a few years back, so maybe you are fitter now or not?

Definitely not fitter now Teresa 😀 My new knee is better than my old one, however, my natural knee is annoyed and playing up, so may need to have it replaced as well.

That is not good to hear. I am just hoping for the best for you and your health. Not easy for all of us who are at this age when everything needs some repairing 😳

Thank you and I agree with your comment regarding repair work. I never envisaged knee surgery, however, bone on bone is not pleasant. It took nearly twelve months for muscular aches stop/ease to the degree that they were no longer noticeable. However, my knee is again perfect….except for the plastic cartilage which clicks with each step. 🙂 And looking back farm life was hard on my knees. Really hard. Although I did not realise it at the time…coz I was bullet proof. 🙂

I have knee pains too but I try so hard to not mind it sometimes. But I know that the time will come when I can’t do that anymore. I just hope that it won’t be very bad. Thanks and have a good Sunday!
