Cee’s
Black and White Challenge:
In the Distance.

A freighter making an early morning exit from Corio Bay.
On the south side of Corio Bay is Point Henry
and the now closed Alcoa Aluminium smelter.
Alcoa commenced operation in 1961 before closing in 2014.
Look carefully and you can see the rising sun is creating a
lighter patch on the leading edge of the cloud bank.
These clouds are much further away than
the foreground of this image.

I really like your watery photos this week. I could sit at a marina and watch the boats and water all day long. 😀

I know the feeling. When driving into Geelong CBD I nearly always pass along the north side of the Bay and the view is always spectacular in my mind
