Side Views
My side views are from Lucerne.
I don’t remember the day being that hot…
but there were many people and vessels…
on Lake Lucerne as we cruised back…
from our journey up Mt Rigi.
Some swans were hugging the shore line.
And an almost side view of the famous covered
wooden Chapel Bridge in Lucerne.
Tuesday this week, I completed listening to Song of the Bellbirds,
a light story about an Australian girl who studies opera in Vienna.
She is taken on an outing to Lucerne and walks across this bridge.
Her husband was translating the inscriptions under the cover of the bridge.
I found myself wishing he had been with us when we crossed over.
