WeeklyPromptsPC24-Colour-Blue

~~~~~~~
~~~~~

blue

The color blue represents both the sky and the sea
and is associated with open spaces, freedom, intuition,
imagination, inspiration, and sensitivity.
Blue also represents meanings of depth, trust, loyalty,
sincerity, wisdom, confidence, stability,
faith, and intelligence.

heroism

great bravery.

Until I followed my Grandfather’s footsteps

to the Western Front, in 2017,

I had not heard of VC Corner

During the July 19-20 1916 attack on German lines

over 5500 men of the 5th Australian Division

were killed, during the division’s attack on

the German lines at Fromelles.

The VC Corner Australian Cemetery is the resting place…

…of 410 Australian unknown soldiers who were

among 1299 killed during this battle.

I found it difficult to come to terms with how

well these cemeteries were cared for.

WeeklyPromptsPC-Smiles

~~~~~~
~~~~~

smiles

form one’s features into a pleased, kind, or amused expression,
typically with the corners of the mouth turned up
and the front teeth exposed.
~~~~~
Lacking teeth to expose, however, he has a cute smile.
Personally, I am not a fan of the toothy smile.
Back in my wedding photography days,
I noticed that while many subjects exposed
their teeth, those who did not were
more attractive.
Perhaps not a full-blooded smile, however,
I’m sure there is a slight grin there.
I certainly smile whenever I see this image.
Another cute smile and not
a tooth in sight.
WeeklyPromptsPC-Misunderstanding
~~~~~

misunderstanding

a disagreement or quarrel
~~~~~
There were always regular misunderstandings
between these two when they were pups.
Candi the Kelpie, always thinks that because
she is faster than Taji, the Labrador, that
she will win a fight with Taji.
Big misunderstanding!!!
Big mistake!
