This was part of our front yard during

Ausgust 2005.

We moved in at the end of September, 2005.

Captured in 2017, I was forever grateful

that this was not our house.

These pigeons have taken residence in our front yard over the past few months. 

For a few weeks they were cute, however,

since they have proved they do not have a

daytime home their cuteness has

diminished some-what.

Upon arriving at the Geelong Botanic Gardens

this is the first view that will greet you as

you step inside the gate.

 

Also near the gate are these two

welcoming bollards.

I was lucky to have a camera ready

to capture this image. 

The rainbow appeared as I was heading

to my car and my lens was not wide enough

to capture the rainbow in its entirety. 

In fact I was lucky to obtain the

several shots I have as it disapppeared

after around 30 seconds.
