RagTagChallenge-(Egyptian)-Goose

Egyptian goose

The goose was believed to symbolize the soul of the deceased
and was often depicted in tomb paintings and reliefs.
Egyptian geese were also associated with the god Geb,
who was believed to be the god of the earth
and the patron god of farmers.
They were considered a symbol of fertility and abundance.

…and a small flock of geese grazing among hippopotamus..

ripples

a small wave or series of waves on the surface of water,
especially as caused by a slight breeze or
an object dropping into it.

One evening, a few years ago I was at

Point Lonsdale Pier

with the ambition of flattening the water.

A 15 second exposure was not long enough to

complete the task properly…

…nor was a 30 second exposure.

However, I feel that my second image is

much better than the first.

Although in hindsight both were reasonable

images considering the size of the ripples.
