and violently into pieces.

We were shattered to find our Miss Saigon shattered.

We had worked hard to sether in place and

after lunch she was shattered into several pieces.

We strongly suspect that it was caused by

the exuberance of two young pups crashing into it.

A few decades ago whenever asked what I would

like for my birthday, Father’s Day etc, my response

was usually, the latest hardback novel

by whichever author I was

reading at the time.

A change of motor vehicle and audiobooks

became the preferred gift, hwever,

these, more often than not were

bought second-hand on eBay.

 

After we moved off the farm and a decent internet

speed was achieved my reading library turned

to electronically delivered ‘books‘…

 

…and even those books which were not audiobooks

could be downloaded to my iPad of the day.
