Can anyone tell me if WordPress changed it storage limits. please?
Have just tried up loading some images and was told that I had reached
my limit and to consider purchasing more storage space.
Somehow my available space has jumped from around 20% it has changed from around 20%-30% to 746% of my limit, apparently, overnight.
Is this where bloggers commence another blog or
dig deep into their pockets and buy more space?
WordPress still says that I have 3Gb of space…but my library
will not let me upload until I delete.
Again has anyone else run into this problem?
A long-time blogger I know just started another blog and simply added a ‘2’ after the name so people would know it was a continuation.

I think that will be my nest step when I he time comes. All seems sorted now…thankfully. 24% Sed is much better than 746% 😊

I hit that awhile back…………..try dropping the size of pics? or as I did in the end I spent money, as I didn’t want to start again. It’s such a pain

My images are usually in the range of 20 to 80 Kb. The first few months of WoollyMuses i was uploading larger images but certainly not for the past 18 months. It appears all is well at the WP end and all appears well again at the WM end. Maybe a glitch in the system?

I know of one other who had this problem and had to buy some more space – revenue gathering methinks

That was my first thought Raewyn…however beginning to think my ISP connection may have had something to do with it, although it was a WordPress warning message at the top of my library page. Two of the WP staff have replied to mmy emails and all are seeing the smae as I am now. No reason that I should not be able to upload file as I have only used 24% and not 746% of my allocated space.

That’s okay Cee. I am beginning to think our internet connection may be the problem…however, when WordPress tells me I am close to my 100Mb limit and I have used 746% of my space used it makes you wonder who is doing the book work. 🙂 Today all appears well.

I haven’t but I’d also be interested in learning if anyone else has had this problem. Sounds like it could happen to any of us?

I am wondering if it was a slow Internet connection as some eventually loaded and five hours later I. Uploaded a 6 Mb file via my 3G provider. Wifi is still slow…very slow. Was told a few days ago the we were paying for access to the Internet and not a service! Abs were are with the best ISP in Australia.
The other possibility is that WordPress was faulty. I have sent off an email.

It’ll be interesting to see whether it happens again. Hopefully not, hopefully it was a one off.

I no longer get a notification of how much space I have. Where can I access that information, please? And, how strange that you apparently have space, yet can’t upload photos. Phooey, I say!

Information about my space used I find in my media library page. 700Mb of a total of 3Gb does not equal 746% used.
