France…

 

…provides the setting for the end of the race.

 

Meeting under the clocks at

Flinders Street Station…

…was, and still is, a meeting place for

Melburnians and visitors alike

In recent years I have taken to buying a piece of clothing

as a practical way of having a souvenir of a trip.

In 2016 we were in Paris and wandered down

the Champs Elysee found this shop and

thought I would give it a try.

Fortunately, this shop stocked

clothing in my size.

 

That was about the time that I discovered

that hoodies and beanies keep warm

that part of the body

that gets very cold as we age.

I’m not one for wearing advertising

or slogans in public, but around home

is another thing altogether.
