Can’t have a parking lot without

parking meters these days.

 

Our driveway in early November 2022

looking more like the middle of winter

rather than a few weeks from summer.

 

Our journey from Lehubu Island took us through parts

of the Kalahari Desert…

 

..along sandy and dirt tracks and past small villages.

 

Upon our arrival in York (England)

we sort and soon found the part of York

known as The Shambles…

…The Shambles is a historic street in York, England,

featuring preserved medieval buildings,

some dating back as far as the 14th century.

The Shambles was once a street filled with butchers.
