a sudden feeling of excitement and pleasure.
~~~~~

 

In 2018 we planned to visit to Canada and Alaska.

I remember seeing an excursion from Fairbanks

to Wiseman and thinking it would be a bit of a thrill

to be able to say we had been inside the Arctic Circle.

However, around twelve months ago we

realised that we would be spending 5 or 6

nights inside the Arctic Circle in June 2023.

Our Arctic Circle adventure began after we

visited Santa’s Village in Finland and

was completed upon crossing the

Arctic Circle again in Norway.

My main memory will be that I tested

positive for COVID and for two days

had a very heavy cold.
