Cosmic Challenge

however, it’s not.

Rather it’s the view out the window

This morning we had around two hours of steady rain

which translates into 4-5 mil or 16-20 points.

Overnight the temperature had dropped by ten degrees

Celsius into the high teens.

Our dogs sought shelter in their day beds until

it was obvious they were going to get wet.

At this stage, Taji decided that the kennels

were a better choice.

Taji’s kennel is the far one, on the right, while Candi’s

is the first kennel or the one on the left of this image.

If you look carefully you will see a labrador’s foot

at the entrance to Candi’s Kennel.

 

Further inspection will reveal Taji’s head

and one eye peering out from the

warmth of the kennel.

Around 2.15 PM another heavy shower containing

some small hail.  I managed to capture this

view out our front door.

 

At least Taji is not in Candi’s kennel,

however, neither is she in her own kennel.

For some reason, the grass is always warmer

in the other kennel and it is always

first in, first served.
