an overflow of a large amount of water beyond its normal limits,

especially over what is normally dry land.

The upper reaches of

the Moorabool River…

 

…during November…

…last year (2022).

A week or two later the water level has receded

and damage to the road was clearly visible…

…however, therewas still a lot of water banked upstream.

It is unlikly that we will see these sights again this year

as we have just had our driest July (Winter)

we have recorded. 

Although I hope for the opposite, I think

we are in for a long hot summer in 23/24.
