My homonym word

is BANK.

Taken on the BANK of the

Wimmera River at Horsham,

On the bank of the River Seine

in Paris, France.

Apologies for the quality of my

Challenger Bank photo.

Among Melbourne’s skyline it was

only about 3-4 millimetres wide

in the original.

Again a tight crop in a bigger photo.

The People’s Bank

in Beaune,

We/I have to stay with the

English version of BANK as the

French versions are totally different.

Berge de rivière…river bank

Banque populaire…People’s Bank

Love this theme….

river-a6_0009These shadows and reflections look better in colour than in BW.

river_0008The northern sun and a large gum tree combine

to cast a long shadow over the river,

while south bank trees are reflected in the water.

reflection_0187National Art Gallery wall in Melbourne.

reflection_0490I took this shot during our walk around

Melbourne Laneways.

The crane appears to be ready to topple and

only very recently, one did.

table_7477And after all that walking around taking photos,

what better place to relax than under a shady tree.

Odd Ball

Week 35

An oar swinging from a tree branch?

wimmera-river_0058Definitely fits the ‘Odd Ball’ category.

wimmera-river_0059I cannot help but wonder how it found its way up there

above the Wimmera River.
