I will concede to cropping

just below the hedge top…

…and wondering what was in the foreground.

Then I moved onto my next photo.

The entrance to the Club Quarters Hotel in London.

Moving from

St James Park

to the

Tower of london.

I have tagged these as Petunias, however,

the length of the stems suggests it may be

a Geranium of sorts.

A-Photo-a-Week-Challenge-Tilted

I think my first entry is the best today…

it actually has he name of the establishment

within a tilted frame.

I suspect my camera shutter was

accidentally pressed as this one does not work.

My camera was certainly not level…but

was it titled or just vertical with a twist?

I cannot remember but I think it works.

Toronto Avenue Cemetery and to take this photo

required some manoeuvring to get

the sun behind the cross

and all of the cross in the frame.

Daisy_0058a

I am fairly certain that the centre of the daisy is purple…or a shade thereof…

Blossom_0042

…followed by some more Manchurian Pear blossom…

My Favourite.

Tibouchina ‘Groovy Baby’

The Lassiandra, or Tibouchina, as it is now known, was one of my grandfather’s favourite plants.

We have had the larger plant but opted for Groovy Baby  as it suited the position in our new garden.

Unfortunately I think they are short lived as these plants have been covered in flowers.

However, for this shot I was at full stretch on the verandah to get a decent shot of this single flower.
