an act or process through which something becomes different.

Due to the erosion of Victoria’s

South West Coastline…

…The Twelve Apostles were formed.

Since this photo was taken one or two

have collapsed into the sea.

However, experts have stated that the

Twelve Apostle will reform if we

give Mother Nature time.

One Word Sunday Challenge:  Change

I had to think laterally this week.

I love this display of cups in an

Illy Coffee Shop

in Amsterdam

Cylinder recordings on display

in a Fairbanks restaurant.

Another hanging cup/light

in Ketchikan, Alaska.

A Geelong store display supporting

the local Australian Rules football team

during finals.

Weekly Photo Challenge-Earth

My contribution for this week’s challenge…

Random piles of earth this week.Drakensburg ranges in South Africa

If ever visiting Cairns in Queensland

this pile of earth should catch your eye.

Between Geelong and my home town

on the Hamilton Highway is Mount Elephant.

Fortunately ‘they’ have stopped eating

into the side of these volcanic cones

which dot Victoria’s Western District.

Mount Shadwell, another of

Western Victoria’s piles of earth.

And finally a pile of earth from The Twelve Apostles.

Sad to think these are falling due to

the incessant pounding they receive from the sea.

Week 80

A couple out for a stroll along the sand near the

Twelve Apostles along Victoria’s

South West Coast line…

Both appear to be fairly tall…

if not above average height.

In this context however,

they are tiny.

Pic and Word Challenge: 80 Context

The Twelve Apostles

I have been lucky enough to have spent

my whole life within a two-hour drive

of this wonderful natural wonder.

This is the view looking east towards

Geelong…not the post card view.

The post card view.

I have never been here for a sunset shot,

but may have to rectify this in the near future.

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge-Walks

My contribution for this week’s

Walks-Indoor or Outdoor

An indoor outdoor walk at

Mt Sheba Resort,

South Africa.

A walk around Lake Wendouree, Ballarat…

about an hour’s drive inland from Geelong.

A walk in the Geelong Botanic Gardens.

Walk from Eastern Beach to the

Geelong Central Business District.

A walk favoured by many locals and visitors alike

is the three or four hundred metre walk

from the Geelong Marina,

along the beach to the Promenade.

The Promenade surrounds a fairly shallow

area of water on Eastern Beach,

an ideal spot for learners to swim.

Finally talking a walk along the top of one of the Twelve Apostles,

along Victoria’s South West Coastline….

will give you a better view of the Apostles

as they appear on many postcards.
