Word-of-Day-Challenge-Gesture
~~~~~
gesture
This gesture left us in no doubt as to
what this young lady thought of
her parents’ request…
…not to walk in front of my camera.
I’m sure I would have received more
than a gesture had I done that
when I was the same age.
How times change.
Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge-Letters-Numbers
~~~~~
Alaskan letters and numbers this week.
Probably the last thing I expected to see
in Alaska…an Australian opal miner
selling his wares.
Just had to have a chuckle.
I think America still measures
distance in miles.
Either way, miles or kilometres,
it makes you realise how far away home is.

~~~~~~
Not sure if I have the nailed the challenge this week.
Has been one of those weeks and hot.
Thursday and Friday…40 plus degrees.
Geelong’s Eastern Beach prior to dawn.
Some of the lighting on our dinner cruise on Dubai Creek.
Initially thought these were ornaments
in a Ketchikan coffee shop.
Auckland Airport was dressed in
Chinese lanterns when we visited in February.
Probably about the time of Chinese New Year celebrations.
