Our Mock Orange in bloom

Taken  in late April four or five years ago,

we still have one or two green oranges on our tree.

It may be just my eyes

but I believe there is a tinge

of orange in this daisy.

Also some orange in the sunrise.

Finally, pumpkin seeds.

Floral Friday-Daisy

My Floral Friday is a daisy?

Not exactly sure what the name of this flower is, but think it may be in the daisy family.

The photo was taken back in August when yellow was a bright colour in our garden.

Friday Flower Festival – Daisy

Early this week I took a wander around our garden to photograph some early winter blooms.

This week I focussed on daisies which are getting ready to bloom in earnest.

I have difficulty seeing shades of red among green. I hope this daisy is as visible as I think it should be.

In a few weeks these plants will be covered in bloom brightening the winter gloom.

My favourite.

However, I can see yellow quite clearly and for that reason it is my favourite this week.

A nice drop of ‘sunshine’ to remind us of warmer days.
