An apparently abandoned house

Could well be abandoned, however,

appears sound enough for storage.

An old stone house(?) and a nearby shearing shed,

both of which appear to be abandoned

to their original purpose, however,

they may be used for storage purposes.

Just prior to, or during the pandemic lockdowns,

due to a new owner, this building has been bulldozed.

Nearly twenty years since I first sighted this house

Abandoned would be a fair description of it today.

Maybe not exactly public transport but we were required to pay for the privilege of a cruise down the Swan River from Perth to Fremantle.

~~~~~
It certainly was not the best looking boat, ferry, whatever,  on the river but it was inexpensive and we were entertained, by the Captain of the vessel, on the journey to Fremantle.   He had not taken lessons in political correctness but had the personality to get away with his comments and everyone was having a chuckle…..at least outwardly!
I  have seen this house sitting alone for sometime now.  Locals soon revealed why it was alone.
You don’t have to be Einstein to work out what is going to take place with the site.  There will soon be a hive of activity on the site again.
Scenes like this are seen more often each day in rural areas as small farms become unviable and are purchased by neighbours who do not require the shedding.  Thus results this abandoned shed.
Hayshed_1939bw
This my nostalgia photo.  This the first, and only, hay shed which Dad had built on his farm.  I spent many years crawling around under iron roof, with temperatures in excess of thirty-five degrees, in an effort to have the maximum number of bales of hay covered from the elements.
The farm was sold a decade, or so, ago and now the shed appears to be alone, or abandoned, to its original use.
