From local gardens and hopefully

fitting the Delicate Colours theme.

Finishing with Camellias…

…of various…

…and hues.

I have thank Leya for inspiration for today’s post.

these effects have always fascinated me.

Googled swirls and twirls and found

an ideal YouTube video

Grabbing the last photo that Photoshop had opened,

and with a few stops, to repeat instructions,

along the way, I turned my beach scene into

an abstract arty sort of image.

As with all videos the instructor was not

using my Elements 14 Photoshop

so I missed out on some blending.

However, it was pleased with final result.

Even it is only a simple twirl.

Another pastime, growing each year,

is my reading habit.

The above screen shot from my iPad

shows some of my most recent reads.

A year or so ago I notice an advertisement

for ‘Dawn  Girl’ by Leslie Wolfe

whilst browsing Amazon.

Sixteen books later I think I have read

most of her offerings.

Jennifer Hillier, Tony J. Forder,

K. A.Tucker and John Grisham

are some of thee recent authors read.

Same photo as at top of post.

Just need to learn how to make images

more interesting now.

Not that I have frequented the cinema

to any great deal in the last 12 months,

it is just knowing that I can.

With some restrictions easing last weekend,

the week just gone was the first time,

in nearly two months,

that we have legally been able

to leave the house for anything other

than exercise and shopping for essentials,

without fear of being booked

for not being at home.

Cinemas, hotels, churches and schools

are still basically in lockdown conditions.

Strangely the week passed before

I realised this and consequently

I did not pack my camera and go

for a drive to Torquay beach

or anywhere else.

In fact in between conducting her zoom classes

MGW and I have been gardening.

Torquay Beach, where you can…

…catch some air…

…take a drop…

…or just enjoy the scenery

I often mention Bells Beach

in conjunction with Torquay.

A web page devoted to surf talk mentions Bells

and imparted some interesting information.

This was a difficult challenge for me…

…because I generally don’t point my

camera at people.

I have managed to find suitable background

and bright colours…..

…along with some long range surfing brights.

Perhaps my favourite surfing shot
