Part of our driveway this morning (Tuesday, Nov 02)

 

The simple fact the the grass has not been cut for a week

or more is the only thing that stops our yard

appearing like is is a sheet of water.

Snow (in November!!) was forecast

down to 500 metres today, so…

…both pooches were grateful for their jackets as

the rain belted in under the verandah.

Eventually, they did decide that the warmth

of their kennels was a better option.

A week ago I went for a drive looking for a photo op. 

This is what I found…in suburbia

Today, October 30, the sun has been shining

and there has been no rain, however…

…it will take a while for the water

to clear our backyard.
