Weekly Prompt Photo Challenge:…Extreme

    • I would tend to think it is, especially with houses built in the last 30-40 years. we lived for quite a few years without insulation or air conditioning In fact it was not until MGW went back to work and came home one hot day and declared she was going to purchase reverse cycle air-con. The trouble was that it cost as much to upgrade the house electrical system that was installed in the 1950s, as it did to purchase the air conditioning. However, I would not be without it now. One final word though, I doubt that any builder installs airconditioning as part of the house price, rather an added extra! Like my first car, with air conditioning, it was a $2,000 extra, even though 85% of sedans, at the time, had air-con automatically installed as they came off the production line.
