Word-of-Day-Challenge-Meldrop

meldrop

A meldrop is a drop of mucus at the end of the nose,
whether produced by cold weather, sickness,
or otherwise

Occasionally, instead of donning an outside pair of jeans,

I wander out to let Taji off in a pair of shorts (not boxers).

A few days ago I  did this, the first time for the summer.

It was hot.

There were no visible meldrops on Taji’s nose,

rather she had tucked them all away up in her nostrils

and let go with an almighty sneeze about 6 inches

from my bare legs.

Yuck!
