Don, what lovely shots of water. Sunrise at Point Lonsdale Pier is spectacular. Sunrise at your house is a cause of major jealousy. Do you ever get stuck in hurricanes? That’s my only justification of not wanting to be on the ocean.

Thank you Marsha. I love mornings however, the last 12 months or so has seen many overcast mornings and evenings…at least they have been whenever I have thought of picking up a camera. Last Friday morning was no exception. There was a large cloud bank on the horizon at sunrise…again.
Regarding hurricanes we don’t get them in Victoria. At least not on the scale of Queensland or U.S.A. hurricanes/tornadoes. About 40-50 years ago there was a wind event which snapped off half a dozen pines trees (during the night) lining a 500 metre long driveway. Just half a dozen trees either side of the drive were damaged and caused some local talk. A few days ago I wrote of a whirlwind ripping the roof off my woolshed. That was unusual damage and I believe that had my shed not been so old (rusting roof and nails) the whirlwind would not have caused any significant damage.. Usually they only pick up a few leaves a dust in a ploughed paddock.

Not sure that I am still a morning person, Tina. The last 12 months have been very quit for me. Heavy cloud morning and night has made sunrise/set photography difficult
