I have often seen this sight. 

A hawk and a mud lark annoying said hawk.

 

However, only once have I ever seen a hawk

take down the mudlark. 

Must have been a Sunday hangover.

Black Shouldered Kite.

Kites are said to be small hawks.

 

… and touch down.

  2. Great photos this week! Nice pics of the Kites in flight. Just FYI, the falcons are not in the same family as the hawks. As I stated in my post, they are more closely related to parrots. Doesn’t seem right, does it? 🙂
