Before my knee replacement surgery last year…

…all I heard was how much better patients were after the operation.

There was no mention of nerve damage causing problems,

the amount of bruising involved or that

it was considered’major’ surgery.

I guess I was over two bones banging together with each step I took.

True I was walking, painlessly, around 6 hours after the surgery
