~~~~~~
The closest I have to ‘street people’ are buskers,
all of whom are making ends meet by
performing on the streets.
None of my images appear to be
of the homeless.
Sorry.
Living statues…
…from Melbourne.
A very flexible young woman.
Impressing the younger generation.
Crooning a love song.
Indigenous music.
All images from Melbourne.
This week I decided on a walk around Corio Bay.
Many images have been published previously,
however, not all on one post.
Beginning at my favourite sunrise spot,
Griffin Gully Pier.
Blue hour at Geelong.
Lights on the left light up the restaurant
at the end of Cunningham Pier.
Entrance to Cunningham Pier.
My photo may not do this scene justice, however,
I think this is one of the prettiest parts of Geelong.
No matter what time of day or season
of the year I always think it worth a stop
for an image or two.
Around 200 metres past Cunningham Pier
we come upon the Geelong Ferris Wheel.
The Ferris Wheel does not operate all year.
In fact it is only a few weeks since it
was erected for the summer.
The Ferris Wheel is located at the western end
of Eastern Beach which is located behind
the camera and to the left of this shot.
Eastern Beach, a nice sandy beach for the young.
The semi-circle out into the bay according to Google
is the Eastern Beach Public Swimming Pool.
All my life I thought it was called the Promenade.
Whatever its name there area is designed
to be family friendly.
