My favourite places.

Locally it has to be Griffin Gully Pier

over looking Geelong’s

Corio Bay.

I missed out on visiting Butchart Gardens in 1976.

The wait was long but certainly worth it

when we visited in 2018.

Accommodation during my 1976 visit to Banff

consisted of a sleeping bag and a small tent.

Forty-two years later and a lot more comfort

and more memories

shine faintly with a wavering light.

While cruising into Juneau I sighted

the glimmer of lights far ahead.

About an hour later we passed the Disney Wonder,

also on its way to Juneau, Alaska.

The following night I captured

the glimmering reflection of moonlight

in Glacier Bay.

Thursday morning started out badly.

We had barely finished breakfast and

the electricity was turned off for the day.

Milk was off,  so no morning cuppa for yours truly.

We had a couple of errands to run

so decided to try Maccas Drive Through coffee.

The day was beginning to look better.

And better still when we arrived home

to find this at the front door.

Several weeks ago,

at the beginning of the panic buying,

MGW found this online and purchased.

It arrived as the commodity begins

to return to supermarket shelves.

No. 1 Son even declared it a scam!

Probably not the best quality, but

much better than the alternative!

This type of behaviour/togetherness

is no longer permitted.

And Victoria has a force

surprise visits on those who

are in self/home isolation…just

to make sure they are at home.
