Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge-Vibrant-Colours

~~~~~
A re-post which I believe fits this challenge…
…as does this.
Either a Red Breasted or Crimson Breasted Shrike.
Sighted in Botswana.
A Rainbow Lorikeet at
Balyang Sanctuary,
Geelong.
Finally, some seasonal vibrant colours.
I may be stretching the terms
doors and doorways this week.
Still in Canada’s
Vancouver Island.
Still in the Butchart Gardens,
this first image is a doorway leads us to
the Japanese Garden.
The gateway between old and new
Chemainus (presumably).
Finally, a fair dinkum doorway
taken from our horse and carriage
ride around Victoria.
FOWChallenge-Rare
~~~~~

~~~~~
rare
*  (of an event, situation, or condition) not occurring very often.
*  (of a thing) not found in large numbers and so of interest or value.
~~~~~

Diamonds are said to ‘…be a girl’s best friend…’

However, they are not rare and the cost of

a diamond is manipulated by the amount

of diamonds mined and marketed.

Rubies, emeralds and sapphires are much rarer and,

therefore, far more expensive than diamonds.

However, a diamond cutter we visited in Amsterdam

valued this piece of carbon at

42,000 Euro / $AUD 67,955 / $US 46,800.

Well over my/our budget.

Word-of-Day-Challenge-Climax

~~~~~
climax
the most intense, exciting,
or important point of something; the culmination.
~~~~~

The climax for any sporting team is to be the

top side at the end of the home and away series…

…and again at the end of the finals.

Winning the AFL

(Australian Rules Football League)

Grand Final,

is the culmination of the season,

for both players and their club.
