Included a colour version just to show the difference.

An undercover walk at Mount Sheba


Finally, our accommodation in Vienna

was at the Imperial Riding School…


…where there were some long straight walks to our rooms.

Spiders have fangs which inject poison into their prey,
and most kinds spin webs in which to capture insects.

Word-of-Day-Challenge-Stumble

stumble

trip or momentarily lose one’s balance;
almost fall.

In late July I found this piece of machinery.

Part of an old stone crusher.

Gingerly following my guide up through the wet spots,

and there were plenty, I found myself standing

on the slope just above my signature in his photo.

My right foot slipped a tad,

my right knee buckle (in sympathy)

and before I knew it I was falling.

Thte incident to only a few seconds

before I was on the ground

beside the concrete block with a few bruises

and a very bruised ego.

Probably not really a ‘stumble’.

More like a stumble without the ‘s’.
