I’m late this week because I have been
contemplating how to approach this challenge.
I was photographing the acrobatics
of this Red Weaver in Botswana, when…
…it suddenly dropped away.
I managed to captured this image
before it disappeared.
These two shots were taken only seconds apart
with different camera settings.
Changing the shutter speed to 1/200
and the aperture to f 8.0
produces a gloomier morning sky and
accentuates the sun’s rays.
And the results may be seen within seconds.
That is what I deem to be
the magic of modern photography.

I know what you mean about the time flying. I’m glad you posted this. Your shot of the sunset in the 2nd setting was beautiful. I love the richer colors and tones.

The BW was lucky that I managed to capture the whole bird, so sudden was its departure from its morning workout.
